I had a huge bag of fresh green beans just waiting to be used. So I was trying to think of something other than the normal steam and eat preparation. So I came up with a random concoction from some stuff I had around the kitchen, and it turned out so totally delish. It's hearty & rich enough that we had this with our meat and that's all we needed for a complete meal.
1 lb fresh green beans(or frozen and thawed)
1/2 c greek dressing(I used gazebo room lite)
6 slices american cheese
1-2 tsp dill(depending on how dill-y you like things)
bacon bits(the real kind, not the hard crunchy ones)
|Serve topped with bacon bits.|
|These last remnants in the pan were actually the most delicious, they had lots of creamy sauce on them and they were perfect. So I ate 'em. If you don't know by now, I'm usually found hovering and eating my seconds straight from the pan. |
