What I Ate.

I like to think that I'm a pretty healthy person.  I run, I drink tons of water, take my vitamins, don't smoke, etc..  When it comes to eating, I'm usually a 80% good 20% bad kinda person.  I eat good most of the day, but will have a treat at some point(fun size candy bar, ice cream cone, etc..).  Lately though(since Easter) I've been more like 50/50.  I'm not okay with this.  I'm not going to tell you that I'm perfect with eating, I'm far from it.  But I like to maintain healthy eating and I hate feeding myself so much junk.  A splurge is normal, but not for two weeks straight, it's just not healthy.  So I thought I'd do some "what I ate" posts for you guys to keep myself accountable.  It's a slippery slope with me, this whole healthy eating thing.  I used to eat really really really horribly.  Then I started changing my diet(and by diet I don't mean I'm on a diet, it's a lifestyle change people!) and noticed how much better I felt when I ate better.   Well needless to say, I can easily fall back into eating crap all the time.  It's so much easier.  Life's busy, so if I don't organize this is what happens.  Food is the first thing that goes out the window.

I didn't photograph my drinks, coffee with sugar & coconut milk, peach green tea with a splash of lemon and water, water, water!

breakfast - greek yogurt, strawberries & kashi go lean crunch (about 1/2 c), this was after I ate half of it, oops!
snack - Trader Joe's edamame crackers.  my aunt got these for max for Easter in his basket and I stole them because they are SO tasty (Hi Aunt Vick! - i'll need more of these soon, hint hint :) )

lunch - leftover chicken chili lime burger from last night & some tomatoes in lime juice w/ adobo and cilantro
picture in your head a chocolate & pretzel fiber one bar here for my afternoon snack - my phone died so no picture, sorry!

dinner - taco "salad".  the lovely baggers at the store crushed my taco shells, so i had crushed whole wheat taco shells, taco meat, reduced fat cheddar, homemade salsa, jalapenos and sour cream
There ya have it..
