What I Ate..

Did you/do you ever wonder what people eat all day?  
I do, and don't ask why because I don't know.  Maybe because I'm obsessed with food, both making & eating it.  Maybe because I'm nosey.  Maybe because it's something we all have in common - we all eat!  Here's what I ate today, no cheating - if it went in my mouth there's a picture of it!

The picture are semi-horrible, BUT I had to rely on my iphone for this one!
Breakfast - whole wheat waffles with apple butter & coffee w/ 1 splenda and skim milk
a.m. snack - dried kiwi
my water bottle - this gets filled NO LESS than 2x a day
lunch - baby romaine, pepperoncini, feta, bacon & lite gazebo room dressing (picture does it NO justice, this is my favorite salad combo ever...)
gum - no explanation needed.
p.m. snack - some scooby grahams and peanut butter 
a spoonful of honey and cinnamon - supposedly it will cure a cold, we shall see
can't believe i did this - i gave up candy for lent.  we walked down to the neighbors and they gave max these rolos, well he couldn't chew up a whole rolo, so i had to take a nibble off the end - OOPS

dinner - again, picture does it no justice, it was great - grilled bbq shrimp, grilled potatoes(tossed w/ olive oil & old bay) and a veggie mix - OH, and my cherry coke zero, yes i know how horrible soda is, and no i don't care. 
i had a dried strawberry, pineapple and starfruit, then i PUT THE FRUIT DOWN - it's addicting
i had 2 cheez-its, my little buddy wanted "mommy, eat" and he fed them to me, so i couldn't say no.
 I don't eat this food everyday, I have to switch it up or I'll get sooooso bored.  But you get the gist.  I always eat breakfast.  ALWAYS.  Typically have 2 snacks, lunch and dinner.  As you can see I tend to pick at night too.  Sorry this post sucks picture-wise, I'll have to remember that for next time.

  1. Seriously, that dried fruit looks so good! I gave up Facebook for Lent. I was not brave enough to give up my sweets!

    1. Mmmm, it IS. It's tropical fruit mix - pineapple, papaya, kiwi, strawberries, SO yummy. Well you're brave for giving up FB I would ultimately fail at that, HA.
