Gooey Cake - Part One

Get ready, because this cake will change your life.
This is not the original "Gooey Cake".  But it's JUST as good.
The original will be coming soon, I would have posted about that first, but I just ate it a few days ago, so it will have to wait.  In the meantime I made a spin off.  It's equally as delicious, equally as gooey, and equally as life changing.

The best part?  It's SO simple.

First, bake a cake according to the box.  Yes, box.  As in, go buy a box of cake mix, and bake it.

That's the hardest part of the entire recipe.  And lets face it, boxed cake isn't exactly a science.  After it's done baking let it cool for about 5 minutes.  Now it's time to prepare for the goo.

We want the goo to get deep down to the very depths of the cake, making it so moist and delicious.  Poke some holes with a wooden spoon, or in my case a chopstick.

Helloooooo sweet deliciousness.  The goo for this cake is sweetened condensed milk & melted peanut butter.  Throw this baby in the fridge for a while to let it cool completely.

Cover it with a tub of cool whip, some more melted peanut butter & finally with semi sweet chocolate chips.  I used the minis, but you can use whatever your heart desires!

The last step.......  Take a bite, savor it, and let it blow your mind.

If  you're wondering, yes, mind was just blown.  If you can even possibly imagine - the original Gooey Cake is even MORE amazing.  The suspense will kill you.

Peanut Butter Gooey Cake
1 box vanilla cake mix
3 eggs(for cake)
oil(for cake)
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 small jar peanut butter
1 tub cool ship
semi sweet chocolate chips

Xo,
Linds
