I'm not a fruit in a salad girl. Never was, and swore I never would be. But I saw something like this on Pinterest and thought, fine, I'll try it (but I know I won't like it, so here I go, wasting my beautiful berries). My normal go-to salad is romaine, bleu cheese crumbles, bacon bits, pepperoncinis and greek dressing(gazebo lite is my alltime fav). My new go-to salad is romaine, strawberries, bleu cheese crumbles & balsamic poppyseed dressing. Turns out I am a fruit in salad girl!!! Totally different spectrums of flavors, both ohhh so delicious. Perfect for this spring weather. If you think you don't like fruit in salad, try this, and proove yourself wrong.
You Need:
Salad --
Romaine hearts, chopped
4 strawberries, diced
1 tbsp bleu cheese crumbles
Dressing -- (recipe from HERE)

2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tbsp dijon mustard
2 tsp light brown sugar
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp poppy seeds
1/2 c extra virgin olive oil
s&p to taste
