I originally saw this recipe here, then saw it again here. Seeing a recipe twice makes me think it's fate that I make it. Maybe it was, because not only did I love it, but Josh did too. Now that's something special. My recipe is slightly different than the original, just an FYI.
You Need:
Meatballs --
1/3 cup panko crumbs
1 lb ground chicken
1 egg
1 tbsp ground ginger
1 clove garlic, pressed
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 fresh cilantro, chopped
3 scallions, chopped
1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
Dipping Sauce --
3 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp water
juice of half a lime(i'd use the whole lime next time)
1 scallion, chopped
place all your meatball ingredients in a mixing bowl and with your hands(gotta get dirty for good meatballs ladies!) combine all ingredients. |
while your meatballs are cooking, combine all of the ingredients for your dipping sauce and mix. |
these were amazing. and don't they look gorgeous too?! |
